Uzbekistan's financial market has long been closed to foreign investors and its development has been significantly limited. The country has adopted a strategy for capital market development which, among other things, envisages growth of the securities market, creation of a competitive environment within the country, increasing the attractiveness of the region for international cooperation and the entry of large systemically important enterprises into IPOs. At a time of such major changes, there is a unique chance to take advantage of the opportunities that are opening up. |
