Nazim Azimbaev has held various positions in the technology and investment sector at the National (Central) Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK), most recently as Advisor to the Chairman and Director of the Financial Technology Department. He led initiatives for the development of fintech in Kazakhstan, digital transformation and data management of the NBK. Previously, Nazim Azimbaev was Deputy Chairman / Chief Investment Officer at the National Investment Corporation NBK (NIC) and has more than 10 years of experience in investing in Public Markets, Private Markets. NIC is Kazakhstan's sovereign wealth fund, created with the mission of preserving and increasing the long-term purchasing power of Kazakhstan's foreign exchange reserves through investments in alternative assets. Nazim Azimbaev received a bachelor's and master's degree with honors in applied mathematics and computer science at the Moscow State University. He is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's professional risk management program. Previously, he was a researcher at North Carolina State University, where he worked on the application of machine learning to option pricing.

Farkhad Kuanganov is a Lead Manager of academic excellence projects at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan with 27 years of experience in working on governance reforms in various sectors of public and local government, including strategic planning, civil service system, project management in fields of education and science, healthcare, political activities. Now, he is the Head of the Project Office of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, coordinator of a group of projects for the creation of Centers of Academic Excellence on the basis of regional and pedagogical universities, National Universities Ranking, national law elaboration for endowment funds, regional standards for the national qualification system managing and advanced personnel training, development of the startup movement in the higher education.
