He has been working at RSHB Asset Management since 2018 as Director of Partner Program Development with Russian and international organizations. During his work at RSHB AM, he developed and implemented in June 2020 Russia's first ESG ETF together with the RSPP and the Moscow Exchange using the Sustainability Vector Index on stocks of Russian companies, 2021 - ESG ETF on Eurobonds of Russian companies and independent ESG ratings of these BPIFs. Between 2021 and 2023, he developed the concept of a family of Russian climate indices to limit the negative impacts of global warming from anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, and the preparation of innovative responsible investment products using such indices.
Graduated from the Moscow Reclamation Institute in 1978 and worked as a hydraulic engineer on large complex water management projects in the Soviet Union and abroad (Middle East, Latin America, Africa, Italy) from 1979 to 1993, including as an expert on the UNDP mission in Zambia. He has a degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Master of Science in Business Administration, Lasalle University, MBA, University of Antwerp, a diploma in English translation, and patents in the field of hydraulics. Alexey also speaks Italian, Dutch, Spanish and French.
Alexey has been a pioneer in the development of banking and investment banking services since 1993, working at Incombank as a project manager for the debut ADR, Eurocommercial paper program and JV for asset management.
From 1997 to 2007 at ABN AMRO, Russia he was a corporate director responsible for the organization of Eurobonds, EMTN, ABS form large Russian corporations, and then as a managing director. He was Senior Banker for Financial Institutions and Public Sector in Russia and CIS and arranged many fixed income and equity transactions for Russian banks and public sector organizations. He represented ABN AMRO at AmCham and AEB in Russia.
From 2007 to 2018 at BNP Paribas, Russia he was Managing Director responsible for relationships with major financial institutions and institutions in Russia and the CIS, which led to landmark transactions such as the first Russian ruble Euroclearable Eurobonds Eurobond, the first CHF, CNY Eurobonds for major Russian banks.
